Make a Monetary Gift
We need funds to keep the doors open to serve grieving children, teens, and their families. Joel’s Place for Children receives no support from federal, state, or local governments. We are not a member of United Way, nor do we receive payments from third parties or from insurance companies. We greatly appreciate monetary donations that are used to:
- purchase supplies for the children’s groups
- provide pre-session family dinners
- purchase materials for both the training of facilitators as well as for their continuing education
- support us as we provide outreach to communities so they know our organization exists to meet the needs of grieving children and their families
We do not charge for our services so that anyone wanting to attend can do so without the possible roadblock that charging fees might present. We understand and want only to support the grief journey of all attendees as they face one of life’s most difficult experiences with the death of a loved one.
